Arkansas Storm Team Forecast: Overnight Storms Expected
After a calm evening, attention turns westward as a line of strong to severe thunderstorms begins forming across Texas and Oklahoma. These storms will push into southwest Arkansas after midnight, bringing the potential for damaging winds and large hail. Additional storm clusters moving out of northeast Oklahoma may also reach northern parts of the state later tonight.
The main window for severe weather will be from around midnight through early Monday morning. While storms will likely weaken as they move into central Arkansas, the threat for damaging winds and localized flooding. By tomorrow afternoon, most of the state should see storms push off towards the east with calmer conditions.
