One Little Rock student is rolling the dice and landing on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A unique board game experience is bringing students from around the world together — for three days of competition, learning, and community in New York City.
An organization called Learn Fresh chose Little Rock 5th grade student Mackenzie Enoch-Noble out of 200,000 students to take part in this unforgettable journey.
The game uses math skills and dice. While students weren’t competing, they were exploring the city.
"It was very fun. It was very busy, and very different from where I live,” Mackenzie said.
And just when it couldn’t get any more exciting — students were given the chance to attend the NBA Draft.
“It’s just so different and so cool because it was my first time being there,” Mackenzie said.
Mackenzie said her team, Beautiful Minds, embraced every moment — stepping out of their comfort zones and into a city filled with opportunity and unforgettable experiences.
"It was very fun because I got to meet students all around the world. It was a great opportunity and experience and it's something I will remember and grow on,” Mackenzie said.
