The virus spreads, turning staff members into savage predators, and Vialini soon discovers that the true monster may be his own ambition when he becomes the virus’s next target.
Review
Metamorphosis: The Alien Factor delivers a gritty, low‑budget take on body‑horror that leans heavily on practical effects and claustrophobic set pieces. While the narrative follows familiar 1990s sci‑fi horror tropes, the film’s atmospheric lighting and relentless pacing keep tension high. Performances are uneven—Tara Leigh’s descent into madness is the standout—yet the script’s occasional dialogue stumbles detract from its overall impact. Fans of classic creature features will appreciate its homage to 80s horror, though the film never fully escapes its derivative roots.
