Arkansas Storm Team Forecast: A few rain chances creep back into play this week
Sunday night, a small chance of a shower in northern Arkansas or a stray thunderstorm in northeastern Arkansas is possible. Temperatures in the metro will drop into the low 70s with a few clouds around and calm winds. Elsewhere in the state, the mid to upper 60s are possible into Monday morning.

Monday features a small chance of a shower or storm with a mix of sun and clouds. Not everyone will see a shower or storm, and those who do, it won't help drought conditions improve very much. Highs will reach into the low to mid 90s across Arkansas in the afternoon.
Tuesday will be very similar to Monday, with highs in the low 90s in the metro with partly cloudy skies. A small rain chance lingers into Tuesday, but again, not everyone will be lucky enough to see rain, and those who do will need way more to help the worsening drought. By midweek, our next front increases rain chances a bit and drops temperatures into the upper 80s.
