LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Two Arkansas men were taken into custody by Arkansas State Police and are facing charges related to child pornography in separate incidents.
On March 8, 27-year-old Gregory Lynn Westbrook of Benton was arrested and charged with 250 counts of the distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, according to investigators.
Officials said an investigation was opened on Westbrook on Feb. 29 after ASP agents received a cyber tip about him related to the distribution of child sexual abuse materials.
Investigators said ASP Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force members and Saline County deputies took Westbrook into custody and transported him to the Saline County Detention Center.
In the second case, 38-year-old Jonathan McLean of Texarkana was arrested on March 14 after agents with the ICAC Task Force and the Texarkana Police Department executed a search warrant on his home and seized electronic devices, investigators said.
Officials said after the search, McClean was arrested at his job and taken to the Miller County Detention Center, where he is facing 100 counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
