Arkansas State Police arrest Amity man accused of distributing child pornography

AMITY, Ark. – State investigators said they arrested an Amity man Tuesday following a weeks-long investigation into accusations of distributing child pornography.

Officials with the Arkansas State Police said 31-year-old Ethan Fagan is now facing 30 counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

ASP officials said agents started their investigation after being forwarded a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on April 27.

Fagan was arraigned in Clark County Circuit Court Wednesday, and state police said he was being held on a $100,000 bond.

Investigators noted that Fagan could face additional charges as they are currently working to determine if any of the images in the case were created using artificial intelligence.

Officials with the Arkansas State Police said they will be directly contacting potential victims in this case. Authorities are asking anyone with information on the investigation to call 501-618-8151.
