UAPB Marching Band in Los Angeles for Battle of the Bands

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Marching Band is in Los Angeles on Saturday for the Honda Battle of the Bands.
Arkansan and NBA legend Scottie Pippen was on hand at Sofi Stadium to cheer on the UAPB Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South as the band practiced.
This year’s host of the event is comedian and television presenter Nick Cannon.
Honda committed in 2003 to highlighting the musical talent of HBCU marching bands from around the country.
Since then, Honda Battle of the Bands has served as the blueprint for showcasing one of the most recognizable and celebrated examples of HBCU culture and tradition to the rest of the world.
