Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club host Memorial Day weekend service at state capitol

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Memorial Day weekend continued with a service at the State Capitol Vietnam Veterans Memorial Sunday afternoon.

The Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club hosted the service, which included a musical tribute and testimonials in honor of fallen service members.

Speakers also remind the public to reach out to all who have served and continue to give.

"Today we're out here to honor the men and women who can't ride with us, we're here to remind everyone of those who fought and gave the ultimate sacrifice so we can enjoy this three day weekend.” Brick, the president of the club, stated. “We're out here to remind that 22 veterans each day take their own lives in this country they left the theater but not the battlefield, so today we have an epidemic of 22 veterans dying every single day at their own hand.”

Sunday’s memorial included a table set to remember those missing in action, and prisoners of war.
