Conway family still trying to solve death of loved one 8 years later

CONWAY, Ark.- It’s been eight years since Terry Credit was killed in his home at Oakwood Village Mobile Homes in Conway, and his family says it’s been tough because his killer is still on the loose.

Conway police said his body was found around 2:30 a.m. on August 17,  it’s now a date the family uses to honor his life.

“We are still looking for justice and on that note we love you, we miss you,” Victoria Credit, Terry’s sister said as she released a balloon in the sky.

She says it’s an unfair reality because all they have left are memories, while Terry’s killer walks free.

“And that’s all we want is justice for his life I think we deserve that much,” Victoria said.

Victoria says her brother was shot twice.

“The first bullet grazed his foot, the second bullet hit him in the chest,” Victoria said.

Sadly Conway Police still have no leads as to who the killer could be.

Charles Credit is Terry’s oldest brother. He says each year the pain gets worse.

“It hurts not to have justice because that was my one and only brother, it was just me him and our sisters,” Charles said.

He says it’s still disturbing because Terry was a good person and didn’t deserve this, and each year he’s left to wonder.

“Why did you kill my brother? My brother wasn’t a bad guy I know that and for a person to take his life the way they did and still be walking around here today it’s just not justice,” Charles said.

The Credits say they’re hoping someone is held accountable soon.
