Beyond Sports Lab free Black History Baseball Camp heads to the plate this weekend at Mills High School

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Beyond Sports Lab will host its 3rd annual free Black History Baseball Camp at Wilbur D. Mills University Studies High School this weekend.

Cofounders Jason Bradley and Jerry Bruce joined Arkansas Today with details on how to get involved in the event, which will be held Sunday from 4-6 p.m. Registration will be held from 3-4 p.m.

Bradley and Bruce said they are aiming to bring together the community through baseball, especially highlighting Black history. Children ages 5-14 years old will be joined by volunteers and older players to learn the basics of the sport.
