USPS temporarily suspends operations at Sheridan post office

SHERIDAN, Ark. – Postal operations have been temporarily suspended inside the Sheridan post office due to safety concerns.
Retail services are still available at the Mobile Retail Unit in the parking lot, which is open from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
Post office box pick-ups remain available at the Prattsville post office from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Customers are asked to bring proper photo identification for pick-ups.
Officials said that the roof inside the office was damaged during storms on Jan. 12.
