Summit Utilities Arkansas donates $10,000 & blankets to Little Rock aid agency

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock-based aid agency Watershed received a donation from Summit Utilities Arkansas on Monday.

Summit provided $10,000 and 100 blankets to the agency. 

Company officials cited Summit’s dedication to supporting the community.

“Summit is passionate about stepping up to support our community whenever we can,” Summit EVP & Chief Financial Officer Bob Gunderman said. “We’re truly grateful to be able to assist organizations like Watershed that are doing so much good for our neighbors.”

Watershed Human and Community Development Agency provides safety-net programs, including access to food and clothing, utility assistance, transportation and specialized outreach services for people with disabilities. It refers to itself as the “World’s first social hospital.”
